The Reward Exchange

The first meeting of the Reward Exchange took place, hosted and initiated by Deepali Talim of Tata Global Beverages, on 17th January 2012.  There are currently nine member companies in this new group, but more are always welcome.  Jim Cressey of Higher Talent ensures the smooth running of events and undertakes Secretarial duties and Deepali will continue to host the events in 2012.
 
The Reward Exchange was founded in 2011 to provide a forum for like minded FMCG businesses to exchange reward information and to progress innovation. The Reward Exchange provides an externally focussed “Centre of Excellence” for high performing FMCG organisations. Participants are those responsible for development, management and policy determination of reward in large multinational organisations.
 
At the meeting on the 17th January a broad based discussion took place in an open and frank forum. Discussion and enlightenment on subjects ranging from cost containment, variable pay design features, pay for performance, talent management, executive reward trends and governance and hiring difficulties for senior functional roles.
 
There will be two further meetings this year in July and October where subjects for the agenda include executive pay disclosure and trends, talent management, short term incentivisation, sustainability and human capital planning.  New FMCG member companies are always welcome, so please contact James for further details.
